On arrival training in the Ukrainian Carpat Mountains
Formation d’arrivée dans les Carpates ukrainiennes!

One of the things we learned was how to make Varenyky. Varenyky is a kind of dumpling similar toItalian Ravioli and it can be either savory or sweet, depending on the filling. Although Varenyky isconsidered to be a Ukrainian dish (and this is even disputed) it is also very popular in Moldova. Hurray, cultural diversity in Moldova.
We filled Varenyky with sweet brinza which makes it even more Moldovian (Brinza is used for almost everything in Moldova, for example placinta, syrniki and papanasi). I still have problems in distinguishing all these dishes so I am to stay here for one year and try it all.
